The new Nike Mercurial Superfly Cristiano Ronaldo 2015-2016 Cleats combine the classical main color black with a spectacular upper graphic, which draws inspiration from lava (please note that the name of the boots is not confirmed yet). The stunning upper graphic boasts a unique design featuring different shades of orange, red and purple to make a bold statement in the 2015-16 season.

On the heel area of the new Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 15-16 Football Boots is the signature CR7 branding, which is much smaller than previous CR7 logos. The Swoosh is white with a black border.

Tech-wise, the new Nike Mercurial Superfly CR Lava Boots offer the same features as the regular Nike Mercurial Superfly. The Nike Mercurial Ronaldo Cleats feature a knitted upper with NikeSkin for ultimate control in all weather conditions. The trademark Dynamic Fit collar is made for a sock-like feel, combined with a tongue-less design.

The sole plate of the Nike Mercurial Superfly Cristiano Ronaldo Lava Boots is black with striking red studs. The black Nike Mercurial Superfly CR Cleat will be available as FG (Firm Ground), AG (Artificial Grass) and SG-Pro (Soft Ground) version.

Weekend boot spots: Old school spots from Figo, Henry and Cafu

The international break, it’s never welcomed by many. It did however this time round make room for a very special exhibition match, which has taken up a great part of our boot spots, because the legends playing brought some serious heat. Get to see what this weekend had to offer here...

Playing on the side of the Laureus All Stars was Edgar Davids, who had pulled out something very interesting for the game against the Real Madrid legends. He channeled his inner Messi and it looked like it worked, because he managed to score two very decent goals.

Luis Figo (Real Madrid Legends) - Nike Magista Opus Custom

Luis Figo was the man to open the scoring in what turned out to be a goal fiesta that finished 6-5 to the Laureus All Stars. He did so in a pair of custom made Magista Opus, which had been fitted with a custom made soleplate. Retired, but still being spoiled by Nike.

Cafu (Laureus All Stars) - adidas X15

The legendary Brazilian is definitely in and among the very best right backs of all time and was always known for his silky skill, which always had an element of unpredictability to them. In that case it’s hard to find a better boot for him than the X15, which were also his weapon of choice for the charity game.

There wasn’t much in the way of great spots in the international fixtures, but this makes up for that. Cascairo from Gibraltar rocked a pair of the adidas Predator Accelerator remakes from 2014. They sold out in no time at all, so he is very fortunate to have a pair and very brave to dare play in them. Take care of them mate!

Thierry Henry (Laureus All Stars) - PUMA King II

At this point we wouldn’t blame you, if you were starting to wonder if every single legendary player was playing in the Charity Match. Well almost and another was Thierry Henry, who popped up in a pair of PUMA King, which he also wore towards the end of his career. An elegant choice for an elegant player, who also showed glimpses of his amazing skill.

2016 Released Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 for Cristiano

Real Madrid have a rather significant game this weekend (or so we hear) and, of course, Nike have kitted out the main Mercurial man Cristiano Ronaldo out with some brand new football boots to play it in; presenting the Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7.

The first proper signature CR7 model to launch on the New Mercurial Superfly, the Cristiano’s new football boots are designed to put a new twist on a classic style with these black and white efforts from the Swoosh.

Nike have often contrasted the bold patterns and fades with classic colours on the Nike Mercurial CR7‘s in the past, and this time is no different.

For Cristiano’s new football boots Nike have brought in a new style of FlyKnit, complete with a shimmering effect built in to the yarn.

The result is a clean-looking, classic colourway with an incredible visual effect that will look the business on the pitch.

“We knew we wanted to create this shimmering effect on-pitch, and do something that would really stand out in the sun or under lights, but it took us many iterations to get it just right,” said Blau. “The idea was inspired by Cristiano,” added Max Blau, Senior VP of football footwear at Nike.

“His technical ability makes him the best attacking player in the game, and the way he shows up in big matches and really shines, is what makes him the best there is.”

The Cheap Mercurial Superfly CR7 is also built specifically for speed. With a dynamic fit collar that locks down the player at full speed, the micro-textured Nike Flyknit upper provides a barefoot-like feel that gets the foot closer to the ball and closer to the ground for increased control.

A highly responsive carbon-fiber plate is designed to further provide explosive speed in all directions.

You might have come across versions of this boot under the working title ‘Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Gala’, and indeed it does have some place in the history of the boot.

Blau explained, that particular moniker came from Cristiano Ronaldo himself.

“When Cristiano saw the boot for the first time, he instantly took to it,” said Blau. “He told us he loved the sophisticated elegance of the boot and the fact that it looked fit for a ‘Gala’.

“These new boots are well-suited for me because they’re elegant, beautiful, and they really shine in a new and different way.

"I’ve always liked trying out new boots, new collections, new colors. Obviously it’s a special game against a big team this week, and I’m excited to play in boots that I feel so good in.” – Cristiano Ronaldo"

Yesterday Nike unveiled their latest feats of engineering, which came in the shape of the Tech Craft Pack. They were built on the concept of mixing the boots concepts of control, explosive speed and deadly agility with the numerous advantages of leather. But hang on? What about the Tiempo? It’s already made from premium kangaroo leather, - yeah well, it’s actually the same as always, just a different colourway.

 
The Tiempo I could imagine was in many ways a sort of benchmark for Nike, when they sat down to create their other Tech Craft models, because it truly is an industry leader in terms of leather boots. The Tech Craft pack would probably not exist without the pure craftsmanship of the Tiempo Legend.

 I know I’ve already used the word ‘premium’ to describe the leather used on the Tech Craft Pack a few times, but that is truly because that is exactly what it is. It is immensely soft to the touch and deliver the famous, cushioned leather touch on the ball.

The biggest and in my opinion very best change is the sole, which has been given an even greater touch of gold, with the elegant detailing and the man of the hours name written across it.

People haven’t been slow to show their love for the new boot either and I too have been quick to join the hordes of people, who are falling head over heels for the new R10 Tiempo. Super Lightweight Boot Brings Even More Speed to the Beautiful Game

Light and fast have become lighter and faster with the introduction of PUMA’s innovative football boot, the evoSPEED SL. The newly revealed boot is PUMA’s the lightest match boot to date, designed to give footballers a new game advantage enhancing speed and agility. Some of the world’s best players including Sergio Agüero, Marco Reus, Radamel Falcao, Marco Verratti, Antoine Griezmann and many more will wear the boot from now on.

The majority of the radical weight reduction was achieved through the usage of a super light, almost translucent textile upper material.  Whilst maintaining the necessary stability, the low weight PUMA SPEEDFRAME adds to the overall lightweight theme of the evoSPEED SL. Further essential support is given through a minimalistic heel counter, which provides the foot with a snug fit in the boot.

The traction studs support the players’ forward acceleration and enable better ground penetration.
